Powdered activated carbon is well applied in the aspects of purified water and industrial contamination. However, during applying powdered activated carbon, its contamination shall be removed and adsorption test for types and concentration of contamination shall be conducted, to confirm the type of activated carbon and required amount of powdered active carbon. Before adding powdered activated carbon, it should be noted that the charcoal slurry first made of carbon power shall be evenly and quantitatively added into water, and the longer the contact time, the better the contamination removal efficiency.

During applying powdered activated carbon, the following security issues shall be noted:
